Aloha United Methodist Church has a membership of approximately 105 members, with an average attendance of 80 on any given Sunday.  Our membership represents a cross section of the area.  We have a wide age range from infants through very active seniors. 

Our worship varies and we try to have some part of our service that will strike a special moment for each attendee.  Music features strongly with a committed music director, a talented pianist, an adult choir, an adult contemporary vocal group, and at various times, special musicians.  Preaching, prayer, scripture, and singing are all parts of our regular service.  As appropriate, parts of the service are projected, and assisted hearing devices and large print hymnals are available.

Youth Minister: Peter Nathaniel Van Hartesveldt (hms@hartmindsoul.com) is in charge of our youth program, ReKindle.  This is a combined group, including youth from Aloha and Christ UMC.  They meet at Christ UMC at 5:00p on Sunday evenings.

Church Secretary: Sherrell Davis  -  503-649-9133 (church phone) or office@alohaumc.org.  Sherrell is in the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. – Noon.  Call her for church information, phone numbers, and scheduling. 

Music Director: Rachel Loucks  -  Rachel Loucks, our new Music Director, will be leading the choir and small music groups.  The choir meets weekly at 7:30 p.m. at the church.

Pianist: Josh Reyes  -  Josh is a very talented musician who shares his talents with the church by playing the piano on Sunday mornings, accompaning the choir and other musicians, and recently he did a special concert as a fundraiser. 

Childcare:  Roberta Thomas, a former teacher and retired pastor, is a nurturing, caring person who inspires confidence to those using our nursery facility.
